Magnificent Evil by luffie
Magnificent Evil
My entry for Outcast Odyssey card entry, I choose to feature and evil dragon, rising from its fiery cave, ready to unleash his sinister plans and wanton destructions. For upgrades, I plan to add more thorns to his arms, and greater design for his horns, perhaps bigger and sporting a more sinister design. More prominent scales would also be suitable, featuring bulging veins to emphasize on his power. And for his final form, he would change his form and open his jaws, with a pose that is more aggressive than this. But overall I like his evil smile in this picture, it portray his character more than if I were to put a standard open jaw.

I hope I get to be chosen, so I can show you guys his upgrades!!

Mad God Zebra by luffie
Mad God Zebra
It's Mad God Zebra from Brave Frontier! Hail all brave Frontier fans! I couldn't get a Zebra even after so many tries, so I made my own version. I like his design and concept, though I feel he is much inspired from Darth Maul of Star Wars, with all the facial tattoos and dual blade weapon. So here it is, Mad God Zebra in the sky fortress casting Gravity Nova. More others coming soon, merry Christmas and happy new year 2015 deviants!  I'll add a wallpaper version next year!

Remember to watch me! :happybounce:

You can also add me as a friend in Brave Frontier Global, IGN: Edric   ID: 8785518669   Elza sbb10 lead, a few spots left :) (2 months of playing BF)

Well, I guess we all made it alive through the Mayan apocalypse isn't it :) But down here in Jakarta where I am living right now, there has been a heavy downpour of rain that causes floods almost throughout the whole nation, literally crippling it, if you are living in New York, its worse than what hurricane Sandy does, people are evacuating and lending a helping hand everywhere. If it happened last year, I might just believe that the apocalypse is coming :p.

So for those who has lived life in 2012 as if its their "last" year, you might need to come up with new goals and resolutions, for those who lived life as usual, don't take it for granted, know that you have been given another precious chance at life, leap at the opportunity. I guess I am the latter, but if anything, this flood has taught me many precious things, such as the cliched but no less obvious "life is precious" and so on, but I won't bore you with all that. Not that I am traumatic or something after the event, but I guess living on the edge actually makes you feel more alive, it fills you with energy for survival that you will never have while living on paradise. You are more alert to your surroundings, opportunities and push you to think more and do more. I use to live in in Singapore for a very long time, and things are definitely more peaceful and orderly, its almost a paradise where your next concern would be "when can I change a new iphone". But then, life seems more boring and the brain get more dull too. Of course, I should not blame it on the environment, every place presents a different challenge and opportunities. But down here in Jakarta, sometimes you just have to be quick on your feet to response to the situation, and learn to be calm amidst sudden chaos. At first glance, it is a crazy place (...well it still is!), but eventually you realize it sharpens you, molds and toughen you up, and then you grow to appreciate the growth it brings you unlike when you live in paradise.

Long story short, without too much babbling, the Chinese has a saying "when you overcome great difficulties and emerge alive, then assuredly there is a great breakthrough afterwards". I believe this is the year of breakthrough for me, and you too, where careers will soar, miracles happens and obstacles overcame for those who are willing to take a risk. 2012 we survived didn't we? Flood throughout the nation? No problem :) Submitted first 2 paintings of the year and get more than usual faves luffie.deviantart.com/art/Anci… Ancient Red Dragon Ragorath by luffie luffie.deviantart.com/art/Bela… Belakor the First Daemon Prince by luffie , excellent. Its a great start, but I shouldn't get too proud, it can be better, try harder. As for you, I hope you will not shrink down in front of adversity and turn your back when you meet a wall, but rather go, go break it, and have your breakthrough this year! :)

Sincerely,
Edric "The Legendary Artist and Designer" (I know I shouldn't be so shameless but I couldn't resist putting it hehehehee)

Indonesia
I am artist from Indonesia that grew up in Singapore. While my favorite subject is fantasy painting, I actually do enjoy many aspects of design too, like illustrations, layouts and web design, hence I dabble in most of them as seen on my website. Other than art, I would say I could write decently and communicate pretty well, since I am quite chatty in real life. I love playing games, cards, chess and board games with friends, but when it comes to rpg computer games, single player is to go.

But for goodness sake, I am very bad at remembering roads, so much so that my friend commented I would get lost on my way to heaven. But then again, I have enough friends that I can tag along on my way there.

Current Residence: Between Singapore and Jakarta
Favourite genre of music: Anything will do but no techno pls
Favourite photographer: currrently none

Thankyou for joining our group, :iconfeaturemywork:! I'll quickly go over the rules for you since sometimes people get confused!

Our group is basically a feature-community type group. We offer interviews, features, and awards. So far those who have been featured have recieved over 130 comments. Its still very young so I'm hoping in a few months it'll be something more like 1000!

Here is a basic oversight of what to do!

:bulletblue: To win a feature, go onto our group page, press the "Feature of the week" and comment on the "featured deviation". It usually has a comment here! so you can't miss it!

:bulletpink: every week we issue out raffles. Every featured deviation you comment earns you another +1 feature. The more you get, the better chance you have of winning!

:bulletgreen: If you give out really great comments you'll be awarded a "Community Spirit Award" a badge similar to the deviousness award that you can place on your page to commend you community spirit!

Thank you for taking part in our group! I hope it is as useful as it has been for other users! If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask!
